Dave Whayman
‘I’ve been Directing for almost 15 years on projects across the world for a range of clients including Sony, Marriott, Boots, a range of Premier League Football teams, and Revolut. My understanding of post-production techniques, through my background in as an editor and through overseeing countless visual effects projects, puts me in a unique creative position to meet and exceed the expectations of many briefs.
Ricky Allen
As a kid, Ricky spent much of his time pouring mountains of sugar on his cereal and is yet to come down from the high. His love for unique storytelling and hilarious scriptwriting are inspired from him his weird and secluded childhood, where he dropped out of school in year 7 and spent most of his time on AOL, chatting to random people on the World Wrestling Federation chatroom (username TrippleHBest - yes, you saw that right, double P). Ricky has had his two latest videos be ‘Video of the Month’ on Promonews, is currently writing his next short film and is a graduate of the National Film & Television School.


James Cookson
‘I am a storyteller who - regardless of the subject matter or messaging context - wants only to take my audience on an emotional journey that has intelligence, sensitivity and depth of subject. After a long career as a motion graphics specialist I diversified into direction.'
Elle Dimond
I'm Elle, a Bristol based Director and Creative Producer. After studying Animation, I began my career producing commercials for a wide range of clients. With an eye for the creative, moving into Directing was a natural path for me; I love working on a concept from start to finish and perfecting all the details along the way.
When not working, you can find me taking photos, walking my dog or playing tennis.


Rob Holder
Rob has lived and breathed directing TV Commercials for the last 13 years and thrives on the discipline of optimising every second on screen. His work has been effective in helping everyone from boutique brands to global names - Samsung, Pentel, Marriott, Dell and Hoover to name a few.
Rob works across many styles and specialises in making polished, memorable TVCs that work hard for the Client.
Yas ATCK
Yas (pronunciation: ya:s/) is half Thai and half Iranian, born and bred in Bristol, UK. As an ‘Adult Third Culture Kid’, Yas’ commercial work is influenced by all three of the cultures she’s grown up with.
The years spent in the kitchen with her Iranian grandmother and the hot, humid summers in Thailand have given Yas a love for bringing diversity and texture to her visual storytelling - Yas focuses on all the tiny, intimate details to breathe life into her video content. Nothing is mundane and ordinary to Yas, everything is celebrated. Yas directs for a range of industries and companies, big and small; corporate, charities, fashion, lifestyle - to Yas, everyone is welcome, everyone is equal and everyone belongs.


Michele Fiascaris
Michele is an award-winning writer director. He has written and directed numerous documentaries, commercials, short films, and the feature film “Fat Cat”.
His works have been distributed by networks such as HBO, and have featured on EMPIRE Magazine and La Repubblica. His films have been selected by several Oscar-Qualifying and BAFTA-Qualifying festivals, and have won awards such as the prestigious ‘Silver Melies’. Michele has directed content for BBC and BAFTA TV and for brands such as Nike, Lamborghini, P&G, Kiehl’s, FIAT, Campbell’s, Barilla and numerous others, including the United Nations.
His latest thriller short film Rain Catcher is available on HBO’s European channels and is nominated for ‘Golden Melies’ at Sitges 2020.
Andy Mihov
Andy’s passion for storytelling started early with writing, painting, and theatre. After working as a creative in global top-tier ad agencies, Andy’s desire to direct took him to the NFTS and after graduating, he directed several award-winning music videos and commercials.
His precise eye for visual storytelling and his versatility is evident across his diverse body of work for numerous campaigns and renowned brands.Andy has the ability to manifest his love for classical and modern art, fashion, culture, and performance into unique ideas for every project he directs. His wealth of life experience and passion for stories means he’s able to go from creating quirky comedy and magical realism spots, to edgy and dark commercials depending on the needs of the story and the client.


Tia Salisbury
Tia Salisbury is a multi-award winning filmmaker based in the UK. She’s a returning member of BAFTA Crew and has received BFI and Exeter Phoenix funding as a writer/director.
Specialising in comedy shorts and music promos, Tia is a recipient of the BCG Pro Production Award and a finalist in the Sitcom Mission industry showcase. Her broadcast writing credits include Nickelodeon and BBC3.
Tia’s short films have screened and won awards at BAFTA-qualifying festivals including; London Short Film Festival, Encounters, Aesthetica and Underwire. Her music promo work has premiered online with 'Q Magazine', 'Vice' and 'Stereogum'.
Josh & Luke
We are Josh & Luke Exell a director duo based in London. As brothers we have been shooting campaigns, commercials, and short films for nearly 10 years.
We are best known for our unique and versatile blend of visual storytelling and purpose-driven work. With a passion for adventure, film, and music. We have shot commercials and short documentaries for leading brands like Meta, Skoda, Mailchimp and Square. In addition to our commercial projects, we prioritise partnering with charities and social enterprises to promote good causes.
We have a unique and refreshing approach to filmmaking with our individual unique skills complimenting each other throughout the process. Josh comes from a stills background and whether he is self shooting or working with DOPs he is focused on every detail of the aesthetic and working with people. Luke comes from an edit background and gets deep into the narrative structures and storytelling, directing with the edit in mind and always one step ahead. We have a wide range of experience from working on large scale studio productions, to heading out on self shooting duo adventures in far flung corners of the world. We create TV ads, commercials and branded content.


Alan Pugh
Born in the Welsh mountains Alun is an award winning film and TVC director who describes himself as an “overly excitable, unashamedly optimistic, professional dreamer”.
Alun has worked all over the world for big name clients but also with local brands with smaller budgets but just as epic ambitions.
Often commissioned by clients because the brief involves really putting heart into the characters or finding a new creative slant, Alun is never happier than when called upon to tell a story where he can layer it with creativity, joy and a sprinkling of fun.
Luke Spurgeon
Specialising in dark, atmospheric music promos and animations Luke always draws on nature and folklore for inspiration.
He set up Fable out of a love for storytelling. Working his way up through the world of post production he knows how the boundaries of what is possible can be pushed, both creatively and technically.
He especially loves filming amazing folk artists in special spaces, always using the natural acoustics to bring out the atmosphere of a performance.


Paul Donnellon
Paul Donnellon is a BAFTA and EMMY nominated director. Paul started his career as a designer and animator then into live action directing for music video and commercials. In his other capacity he carved out a reputation as a film title sequence designer for major movies for Fox ,Universal, Warner and HBO.
Recently Paul Designed and Directed four motion graphics sequences for Ethan Coen’s new Movie "Drive away Dolls" released sept 2023. Paul is the series Director for the live action and animated series ‘Messy goes to Okido” for CBBC . His Tv Directing credits also include the hit show “Floogals” for Universal and “Daisy and Ollie” for Nickelodeon.
Paul was a director at MPC ,then creative director at Mill lab and Voodoodog and now represented by Treacle 7.
Statement
I love directing, especially comedy and whether using animation or live action i have a great instinct for comedy timing. I have a strong design sense and bring that into filming and animation. I love the art of editing and the skill is similar to animation timing. Working with a crew whether shooting commercials or on an animation series the best aspect is the feeling of collaboration and all working to achieve a great result.
