Yas (pronunciation: ya:s/) is half Thai and half Iranian, born and bred in Bristol, UK. As an ‘Adult Third Culture Kid’, Yas’ commercial work is influenced by all three of the cultures she’s grown up with.
The years spent in the kitchen with her Iranian grandmother and the hot, humid summers in Thailand have given Yas a love for bringing diversity and texture to her visual storytelling - Yas focuses on all the tiny, intimate details to breathe life into her video content. Nothing is mundane and ordinary to Yas, everything is celebrated.
